The ‘Sequoia’ is a mid-sized fixed blade that was designed by Eric Garza during a hike in the Sequoia national forest. He wanted a knife that could perform any camping task with ease but also functions in many bushcrafting and survival scenarios. The original Sequoia has been his personal camp knife for years and after many months of testing, Kizer presents the ‘Sequoia’ collaboration. The 1095 carbon steel blade measures 3.78″ and a black traction coating. The knife fits snugly into your hand and makes quick work of both large and small cutting tasks.
Kizer uses high-tech wire EDM machines to cut the parts. This method is slower than laser or waterjet but Kizer feels the quality is worth the wait. Each component in Kizer knives is precision machined and engineered to the finest tolerances. The final fit, finish, action and sharpness of each knife are achieved entirely by hand, employing the irreplaceable craftsmanship developed by generations of cutlery masters. Dedicated craftsman honoring the long-term goal of making the best knives possible is what Kizer brings to you.
